I will be relying on FASFA to help pay for my education. My concern is
that I will be unable to do so because I have never filed taxes. I
have been a full-time student for the last few years and my income has
been under the minimum filing requirement. Since I am over the age of
24 and not considered a dependent, will the fact that I have never
filed taxes interfere with my ability to apply for fasfa aid? If so,
what should I do?

Do the FAFSA. It asks if you have filed taxes, have not yet but will, or won't file. I think you have to explain why for a lot of schools. Just fill in your income and other stats.

Also, you can't rely on the FAFSA to pay for anything because it is just an application form. However, you do need to fill it out to be eligible so federal loans, so I get your drift

Finally, look into filing taxes. I was not required to file this year either, but I did so and got $250 in Making Work Pay tax credit. Check taxslayer.com or similar to file free online.
