Sallie Mae Private Loan Deferment

I have a good amount of a private loans, from Sallie Mae, from undergrad.
We can defer these while in law school, correct?

Fro my experience, only during the actual months you are in school. You may still have to pay during the summers, but call them and check.
In-school deferment is an option though. Contact them to get the particulars.
