Ive applied to UGA a couple of times (denial) but this has been my best cycle due to my improved LSAT... with a LSAT of 166 and GPA of 2.9 is it unheard of getting any sort of scholarship money from them... Im only looking for about 5-7k for the first year and dont know if it will be even worth the time trying to get the money.

I am a UGA grad and resident as well...

No. Your LSAT, while good, isn't good enough to pull $$$ with that abysmal GPA.

If you were accepted and are instate, attend. instate is super cheap. and that is likely the best school you'll get into. I say this as afellow 2.9 er with a 167 who is still waiting on UGA.

Honestly I probably will but I was just wondering if anyone has been successful squeezing any money out of them at with these numbers... it was worth a shot

They offered me in-state tuition with a 166, 3.1. Doubt they'll offer you anything though, since you are already getting in-state.
