I hope this was the appropriate section to post this in.
I tried using the search function but obviously the pages just go further and further back with everyone freaking out about Cumberland and Akron's fee waivers while waiting for their scores.

Anyway, when does one start receiving fee waivers based on the October administration? I remember June's was shortly thereafter, but I'm wondering this because I wouldn't mind holding off certain applications for a week if it meant I would get a fee waiver.

And does anyone know what score generally qualifies someone for Duke's priority track? And if this would come with the rest of the fee waivers?

I think it's safe to say they started coming today. I had a 165 in June and heard nothing from WUSTL or UVA. Today when I got home from work, I had fee waivers from both, which I'm assuming has more to do with the 172 in Oct than the 165 in June.

Yes, they have already begun. WUSTL, W&M, UVA already this morning.

I have gotten a Fee waiver from wustl and bu with a 156 so i dont think it has much to do with LSAT. I am a URM so that might explain a bit.???

Thanks guys, I also had a slew of fee waivers come in today, including WUSTL Virginia and Duke (9 in total). I guess I was just being a little impatient but the Duke priority track is an appetizing option.

Where do you find out if you've gotten fee waivers? Does it come by email or show up somewhere on your LSAC account?

it comes by email if you're registered with CRS, but you can also email schools asking for them.

Ah... is there a polite way of doing that?

"Hi, I would like to apply for your school but don't want to pay $60 for the chance of doing so. Can I have a fee waiver? Thanks."

I just said something like:

"Hi, I was looking to apply early decision, and was wondering if I would qualify for a fee waiver, LSAT =x, etc)

Thanks for your consideration"

Cornell told me theirs was automatic, and that as long as I had registered for CRS, I would eventually get one if I qualified.

Yeah, i thought it might look a lil rude too but someone else here said they did it real simple and i did the same.. something like this is my numbers, i was wondering if i qualify for a merit based fee waiver thanks, and a few schools said sure here you go.
