I imagine a judgment could be made against you and if you are in a country that will extradite you will be shipped back to the US and made to answer for your crime. moving out of the country to avoid debt is TTT at best. Faking your death and living off the grid is TCR

There are very few countries in the world that wouldn't deport you back to the US at our government's demand.

Plus, what the hell are you going to do with an American JD if you aren't in the US? Its unlikely other countries will let you practice if you are just ditching 160K of debt.

When I was reading my loan documentation the most lenient debt discharge method I saw was that if I die my school loan debt goes poof.
