1000 for one semester!? Damn. By shopping around and finding some good deals, I got a semester's worth of books for under 600, and I'm sure other people did even better.

It varies. If all of the books are new editions (the edition came out during the current year), then they will likely be between $150-$180. Most classes also have supplements that cost between $20-100. If you have 5 courses (not including LRW) and you make it under $1,000, you did well (pass). If you make it under $800, you did very well (high pass).

I spent around $1000, including my LW books. And I shopped around.

Just under $800, but it's only for one quarter, so I'm probably going to clear $2000 by the time June rolls around.
And that's without buying E&Es and hornbooks, just the mandatory stuff.

$1128 with supps. (w/o the chrunchtime questions). Ridiculously, 5 required books for property.
