Financial Aid at 2 Schools??

Kind of a random question, but I've got tuition covered at the law school I will be attending (scholarship and a bit of loans) but I'm wondering if I would be able to get financial aid at another school. I don't want to be consumed by law school all the time so I'd like to take an art course and guitar at a community college (something easy - credit/no credit - weekends) and I'm wondering if it would be alright to apply for financial aid at that school (I received a fee waiver and a small grant in the past taking some courses). Basically, I want to do something outside of law school, but don't really want to pay and wouldn't mind actually having it paid for me.

Considering I'm not receiving any government money from my law school would there by any conflict with getting aid at the CC?

If I had a penny for every time a law student told me they needed more school to occupy their weekends....

Wait until you've done an entire semester of LS. While I doubt that at the conclusion of your first semester you will think you have time for art courses at a CC, it is possible. My recommendation is not to do it, especially your first year of school when your grades are really important. You really won't have time to do a good job on both. So either you would be hurting yourself in LS, or you would not be getting the most out of your art courses. Does that make sense?

I doubt you would get aid anyway, because you would not be a full time student there.

In order to get financial aid, you would need to be a "Degree Seeking" student. If you are not seeking a degree in art from the community college, I doubt that you would qualify for student financial aid.
