LSAC Fee Waiver's "Expected 2010 Income" Forum

Does expected income include all the grants, loans, and scholarships, I will be receiving for the year, or simply does income refer to money from a real job? As it stands right now I am unemployed but am trying to find a part-time student job on campus. Whether or not my financial aid package from my university counts towards my "expected income" will basically be the difference between putting $3,000 and $18,000. Thanks!

One more thing- when asking for parent income, does the same rule apply as undergraduate, as in if you are from a divorced family you only need to report one parent's income? Although I receive $0 from either parent, I use one's tax form for FAFSA as I am not in contact with the other. Any help with this question would be much appreciated.

If I remember correctly, I didn't put my grant and scholarship money and only the money that I had in my bank account. For the taxes, I only used one of my parent's taxes because they are separated and filed their taxes separately. I think they ask you somewhere how much money you received in fin aid though, but I don't think it counts as your expected income.

Expected income is just that - Wages, tips, compensation. It does NOT include scholarships, loans, and other financial aid.

There's a separate spot on the fee waiver where you declare your total financial aid awarded in 2009-2010.
