What school/tiers could I be looking at for a full ride/close to a full ride with a 3.88/168? I have no income beyond covering living expenses and have not been supported by parent $ since I was 18, finances are going to play a big role in my decision... any ideas?

Terminology is important here as a "full ride" scholarship usually means tuition, fees, room & board, and, sometimes, books. I think that most posters on this website write "full ride" in reference to a full tuition & fees scholarship.

Apply to MVPB-DNCG; as sometimes people with your numbers get some money.

And also apply to GW, Fordham, WashU, UCLA, USC... pretty much any school lower than t14 has a shot at giving you significant money.

This sort of thing is very unpredictable. Look to the medians at schools and if you are above both, and the school thinks that you are serious about attending, you'll get a scholly offer. Who gives the full ride is completely up in the air. Just apply very widely to schools at which you are above both medians.

If you're accepted to GW through ED, you automatically get a full tuition scholarship. Just something to think about. But it doesn't cover housing, and DC COL is a bit painful

i think it DOES cover cost of housing for the first year though

really? is there stipulations attached to GW scholly?

Indiana would give you a full ride with no strings attached. Seems all you need is both a 3.7+ and a 164+, and you have both.

Getting a full ride at Illinois seems likely.

Use the ABA data (spreadsheet at the bottom of the page)to find schools that give lots of full rides and have UGPA/LSAT medians below your numbers. If you're about the 75th percentile for both, you have a great shot. If you're above median, you still have a chance.

Wake Forest might make a great safety. WUSTL and Minnesota are also generous.
