Calling all negotiators!

Hey,
I am always interested in how people negotiate with a school to get more money added to their scholarship. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to get a "How To Guide" started for us noobs.
So, how did those of you that got more money out of a school manage to pull it off? What did you say? Who did you speak to? What types of things can get them to swing more cash your way? Stuff like this would be helpful!
