Another negotiation question

Post by meg5096 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 4:37 pm

I was recently accepted at Villanova w/ a 30k/yr scholarship. (tuition ~ 37k). Also been accepted to Temple w/ 5k/yr, which brings tuition/fees down to about 13k/yr. Tried asking Temple for more money but was told that at this time there are no more available funds...

My question is about Villanova- would it be worth it to try asking for more money from them, even though they have already offered a near full scholarship...especially because they are already cheaper than Temple which presumably kills a lot of my leverage? anyone have success stories of asking w/ basically no leverage and receiving more money? Thanks for the help
