Negotiating Timeframe

Quick question for those of you who have bargained for more scholarship money. How much time elapsed, generally, from when you made the request and provided documentation and when you got a decision?

I received an increase the same day via email.

One school was about a week, the other was 4 days. Both were nos.

I had one that was a matter of hours (significant increase) and the other has had almost 4 weeks elapse and no response (either way)...
I'd like to think they're just waiting on deposit returns, but this dead air is brutal

Texas: 1 day (yes)
UCLA: A week (no)
Cornell: Over a week (yes)
Duke: 1 day, but I had to annoy the Dean and beg him to give me an offer because of a deadline the next day (yes)
