Asking for Scholarship in addition to Need Based?

Hi guys,

I received a substantial grant for Need Based aid for a school. I was wondering if I can still ask/negotiate for a merit based scholarship?

You can always ask, but probably won't get anywhere unless you have merit aid from another school at or above its ranking.
