Top Law Schools

I was looking through some older threads and I didn't see too many success stories about students who were able to negotiate better terms in renewing their scholarships (Instead of being in top 33% to keep scholarship, you just need to be in good standing). Have any of you successfully negotiated better terms or attempted to do so? If so, how did you do it?
