Why are you getting an IMBA?Xnegd wrote:So, I just finished signing my last loan application for my first year of school (I'm getting my IMBA/JD).
I just signed away $90K to my name...plus whatever my interest will be in paying it off. (going to a International school for my IMBA, and our Dollar is really really weak right now). Then next year will be my Law School loans.
I consider myself a strong man, in command of myself and restraint, but I think I might break down a cry a bit at my cubical today lol.
I was/am so excited about school and my future, but it wasn't till I signed my name that it all hit me........"F***, what did I just do?"
Me neither, I feel better now though.booboo wrote:Not sure what you wanted to achieve with this thread...
Hope you feel better?
It is because I want to be a International Contracts Attorney for Google at their Dublin office, and this a the best way to get an "in" and to attain experience directly related to what they want.Desert Fox wrote: Why are you getting an IMBA?
That is pretty specific. So they pay well to cover your 300K in loans?Xnegd wrote:It is because I want to be a International Contracts Attorney for Google at their Dublin office, and this a the best way to get an "in" and to attain experience directly related to what they want.Desert Fox wrote: Why are you getting an IMBA?
Yea, in the long run I'll be fine if it all goes to plan. Especially with the euro as it is. I just got a little lightheaded when I visualized $300K of debt in my mind. Plus as we all know, nothing happens exactly as planed.Desert Fox wrote:That is pretty specific.
