FAFSA School List

FAFSA only allows a maximum of 10 schools to be listed for consideration of financial aid.
If you apply to more than 10 schools and you get into a school that is not listed on your FAFSA application, what do you do to get Federal Student Aid? Thanks.

I believe you can go back and add more to your file at a later date. I think 10 is the max for the application when you first fill it out. I have to do this today as well, but I would check the FAFSA site.

Submit your FAFSA for your first 10 schools. Wait until you get an email with your SAR. Go back and amend your FAFSA by deleting your original 10 schools and adding any additional schools. Do not change the data and submit again. Repeat as necesesary.

You don't have to do this. Just go to "Fafsa Followup" and click the link that says "add school." Done and Done.
