Just follow the directions. Deadline is 2/2/09
It's a head-start program. Good luck.

There is another summer Pre-law school program I think called Law Advantage or something like that? Anyone familiar with that program?

No, please let us know. I am also familiar of a similar program from UC Hastings but I don't know what it's called.JonasBrothers wrote:There is another summer Pre-law school program I think called Law Advantage or something like that? Anyone familiar with that program?

I found that link to be really helpful. I'm applying for the summer institute because I already did ASAP and a couple of events with CLEO and they have been amazing.
If you scroll to the bottom-ish of the page, there's a section of URM and Indian-geared programs... there was a post on here about CLEO being expensive but that link should put it all in perspective. Maybe aside from the Houston Institute for AAs, it's the most bang for your buck! (just take a look at the prelaw program at freaking Oxford for $10,000+) Good luck to all. =)

Yeah. I see you are in TN, so Vandy is the best school there. I went to go visit 2 weeks ago (haven't been accepted but still wanted to see). Good luck.Pinktort wrote:Would like to attend Vanderbilt. Applied 9-22-08 for summer 09 CLEO, still no word yet...

Re: CLEO 2009
I received a letter in the mail today from the CLEO program today. I was admitted! I'm accepting it and will attend the 6 week institute at one of the locations (Southern Illinois U or U of Pittsburgh) this summer.
Best wishes to all of the other applicants.

Re: CLEO 2009
Thanks wraaaa and mimijd. The letter says a deposit must be submitted by February 2nd and you have to fax a form accepting your spot in the summer institute "immediately." I was hoping we'd be allowed to choose the location; however, it appears that students are assigned locations. Either way, good deal.wraaaa wrote:congratulations! how long do they give you to decide whether or not you will attend? do you get to choose which of the two locations you will attend?

Wow, that's great. What part of the country are you in? I am in the midwest so I'm wondering if I will get it soon. I have my fingers crossed.macjags07 wrote:I received a letter in the mail today from the CLEO program today. I was admitted!
