First generation college student

Hi all. I’m currently a sophomore in my undergrad with a 3.7 GPA. I’m a first generation college student, and a minority. Do these things help boost law school admission?

Also note that underrepresented minorities (URMs) for law school admissions purposes are limited to Mexican-Americans, Puerto Ricans, African-Americans and Native Americans. Other minorities (Asians, non-Mexican Hispanics, Middle Easterners, etc.) aren't considered URMs for law school admissions purposes. They may still provide a soft boost around the edges but I wouldn't expect any large effect.Morpheus wrote:The latter much more so than the former, but they both help.
