What approach should I take when applying to some of the top schools or is it a waste of time?

I know retake isn't an option for some people , so what are your career goals and what schools were you looking at?

Ultimate goal is to be a patent attorney, as I am already in the field of patent law. I'm looking at a range of schools from Chicago Kent, Loyola Chicago and Northwestern because I don't want to relocate if possible.

No retake and your best bet would probably be Loyola. They have a pretty good patent program.
