Weird grammar question: Do you capitalize Black or lowercase it?

I have a tendency to leave it lowercased unless I'm thinking about it and was pondering this as I TRY to write my DS.

You can do both when you mean African-american. As of late, I think the more accepted style is lowercase, though.

doesn't matter if you use uppercase or lowercase, it just has to be consistent through your application. That also goes for mentioning any other ethnic backgrounds if you capitalize Black you better capitalize Hispanic and White.
