Weird grammar question: Do you capitalize Black or lowercase it?

I have a tendency to leave it lowercased unless I'm thinking about it and was pondering this as I TRY to write my DS.

You can do both when you mean African-american. As of late, I think the more accepted style is lowercase, though.
