The LSAT beat me

Hey ya'll, I'm just looking for some advice on what I should do.

I took the LSAT today and i'm estimating my score at somewhere in between 165 and 168. My GPA is a 3.7, and i'm an AA female.
If i'm looking to get into the T6, what do you think my chances are (specifically with Harvard, NYU, and Columbia) with my current probable score and GPA and do you think I should retake in in September but also risk getting in my application later than if I don't retake it?

You should definitely wait until you have your score back before you post here for advice. It will be tough to give you any advice without that score.

With that said, there were plenty of applicants this cycle that got into Harvard with similar stats to you. Go to mylsn.com and play around with the numbers.

Don't despair until you get your score. Every test there are some people who freak out all month and then get a good score.

Once you get your score then make a decision. But a September retake will still allow you to apply very early in the cycle.

The moment you let your anticipated URM boost impact the score you're willing to settle for is the moment the URM boost is no longer a boost.

That's not what i'm doing, I'm trying to think realistically in terms of weighing my anticipated score with the later application date that would come with retaking the test

Retake in September because why not Yale....you'll get t6 regardless if you're between 165-168. Good shot at Harvard with a 168.

Also, is it possible to send in my app (with my current score) the day applications open in September and then send in my newer scores once I get them?

Yes it is. I would actually recommend doing this if you score the 165-168 you think you did.

I agree with Nachoo's posts above. Spend the next three weeks on drafting and finalizing personal statement, resume and the other application components.
