I had a similar GPA to yours and an LSAT score in the 167-169 range and i got rejected by harvard, waitlisted by columbia and gtown (though this may be YP), and in at NYU. I also have whats considered here to be strong work experience and come from a low-socioeconomic household which fed into my narrative for law school, yadda yadda.

I think its going to be very tough with your scores to get into Harvard, Columbia, and NYU. Your best bet would be gtown and even that isn't certain with your stats. Unfortunately law school are stats first, everything else second.

I'm a URM (mixed), similar GPA, and applied last cycle with a 157. Got waitlisted everywhere and only into a few T2 with poor money. I reapplied with a 167 and got into the lower T14 with good money. I got waitlisted by the rest of the T14. You're gonna have an uphill battle. Write every optional essay, highlight your work experience as best as you can. Ultimately though, your numbers aren't competitive for those schools as they are.

Actually just forgot to change the drop-down to "URM only", but whatever. So what? Graph doesn't look much different:

I'm relatively new to this site and am seeking insight on my chances. I'm applying in the fall of 2016, and am shooting for t-14, primarily Harvard, NYU, Columbia, and Georgetown. I planning on pursuing international human rights, so NYU is really my top. I'm already aware that these will be difficult, and that they're far reaches. Here's what I'm looking for: 1) chances at the above schools with my stats, 2) chances at any t-14 with my stats, and 3)suggestions for strengthening my application, other than the lsat and GPA. GPA at this point can't be changed, and it was a 3+ year struggle just to get my LSAT where it is. Retaking is not an option for me. Ok here are my stats.

GPA: 3.4 at top 25 liberal arts college
LSAT:, 158, 160
AA female
5 years out of undergrad
great WE--top 5 corp law firm, major international NGO based in US, international field experience
good extracurriculars since UG that fit into my public service narrative

Of course I'm working on crafting an excellent personal statement (started working in december 2015), I've reached out to my recommenders already, and I plan to submit my completed apps no later than end of october 2016. Is there anything else I can do to increase my chances? Should I write "why X schools" for all of t-14? Anything I can play up? How does my WE and being 5 years out of UG affect my application?

Thanks!
Of the schools you listed, I think you'll be good at Georgetown for sure and one of the NY schools. If you can get that LSAT score up to a 165, you'll have a better shot though. Definitely retake!

You have a chance at most of the T14. I think you should apply everywhere in the T14 and see what happens. Good luck!

I have roughly the same stats and am an aa male and I got into none of those schools but I did get into a top 10 and received massive money (over 100k) at one of these (UCLA, Vanderbilt, Cornell) schools. When you are below both medians (better yet slightly below both 25ths as in this situation) as an aa urm applicant your writing ability on your ps and ds and softs are the only things that can get you into those schools. You need to write something that shows elite writing skills, legendary storytelling ability, along with a great theme). You also must apply as early as possible, preferably on the first day apps open. Your gpa and LSAT are both not 1% quality even among aa applicants so write a ps and a ds that is 1% quality so you can stand out amongst everybody. Be someone that everyone who reads your app will remember. Take risks especially for a school like Harvard where the chances are probably not great currently.
