Any recent speculation on what scores look like on African Americans entering Harvard Law?

My LSN has 9 people who were accepted to Harvard last year from a high of 172 with a 3.85gpa to a low of 160 with a 3.7. Guess it goes to show how sparse the data is on MyLsn because if Harvard has 50ish spots for AA yet only 8 people reported as accepted(some of whom didnt matriculate( maybe got Yale, Stanford, lower rank with money). We probably have no idea of the stats of like 80% of the matriculating class.

Right, and I wish we did. That leads to another discussion tho lol. From the info I've seen when I first started out, 165 seemed to be the standard for those with a 3.7 or higher. I bet most in those 9 fall in the middle of that for the most part?????

Somewhat. Of the 9, 6 had a 3.7+ and 3 of them got accepted with a 163, 160, 160. They might have crazy softs though so, idk. Im wondering if theres any benefit to being at or above one of harvards medians though or whether they evaluate AA's completely differently. The medians are 173 3.86 would, even the guy with the best numbers was slightly below both. So would a median lsat splitter like me be in a better spot than a 3.7 165, im leaning towards no but hopefully im wrong lol.

Numbers
Accepted 172 3.85 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/ChiefM
Accepted 171 3.98 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/Wheresthethesis
Accepted 168 3.48 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/kss31
Accepted 167 3.66 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/writingmyticket
Accepted 166 3.73 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/honeybadgerdontcare
Accepted 166 3.51 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/Bwill117
Accepted 163 3.83 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/mww5278
Accepted 160 3.74 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/iTravel
Accepted 160 3.70 http://lawschoolnumbers.com/DiniMae

So I just did the averages and it was 165.8

Lol, I have a 3.8, but the 165+ is what my hang up is lol

I haven't seen anyone on tls with a sub 3.3 GPA get H with under a 170 LSAT. Anyone over 165 and over 3.5 has a shot. Anyone under 165 likely has great softs. If I remember correctly, Dinimae was a military vet. Not sure about the other two, but at least one was an ivy grad. That's not near vet status, but it's something.

I suggest looking at the low LSAT acceptances as exceptional cases. Best info we probably have is last year's cycle results thread.

So what would you all consider the GPA floor for AA Male at H?

With a 165+ I'm submitting my app to H simply because of the small sample size

I think with a 165+, GPA floor for an AA male would prolly be like 3.5 for H, 3.3 for T6, 3.0 for lower T-14

Idk but I really feel like a 3.3 167 AA male can snag H. Probably off of the wait list but would be admitted nonetheless. Maybe I'm just being optimistic for my situation :D

Man go for it, the amount of African American's scoring in that range is select. We just don't know what could happen. Yes the numbers reflect some pattern, but they are extremely small samples. Wejust talked about folks getting into t-14 schools with sub 160 scores. You never know until you try bro.

I ended up getting into one of CCN (with $$) a few DNCG with $$$. flat rejections to B/P. Ended up going to one DCNG and it turned out to be a great decision financially/academically
