Any recent speculation on what scores look like on African Americans entering Harvard Law?

Right, and I wish we did. That leads to another discussion tho lol. From the info I've seen when I first started out, 165 seemed to be the standard for those with a 3.7 or higher. I bet most in those 9 fall in the middle of that for the most part?????jnwa wrote:My LSN has 9 people who were accepted to Harvard last year from a high of 172 with a 3.85gpa to a low of 160 with a 3.7. Guess it goes to show how sparse the data is on MyLsn because if Harvard has 50ish spots for AA yet only 8 people reported as accepted(some of whom didnt matriculate( maybe got Yale, Stanford, lower rank with money). We probably have no idea of the stats of like 80% of the matriculating class.
Somewhat. Of the 9, 6 had a 3.7+ and 3 of them got accepted with a 163, 160, 160. They might have crazy softs though so, idk. Im wondering if theres any benefit to being at or above one of harvards medians though or whether they evaluate AA's completely differently. The medians are 173 3.86 would, even the guy with the best numbers was slightly below both. So would a median lsat splitter like me be in a better spot than a 3.7 165, im leaning towards no but hopefully im wrong lol.ltowns1 wrote: Right, and I wish we did. I think with a 165+, GPA floor for an AA male would prolly be like 3.5 for H, 3.3 for T6, 3.0 for lower T-14GreekOmega12 wrote:So what would you all consider the GPA floor for AA Male at H?
With a 165+ I'm submitting my app to H simply because of the small sample size
GreekOmega12 wrote:Idk but I really feel like a 3.3 167 AA male can snag H. Probably off of the wait list but would be admitted nonetheless. Maybe I'm just being optimistic for my situation
Bro, like i said earlier LSN shows maybe 10% of the AA's who matriculated at H last year. Theres hope lol.GreekOmega12 wrote:Idk but I really feel like a 3.3 167 AA male can snag H. Probably off of the wait list but would be admitted nonetheless. Maybe I'm just being optimistic for my situation

slightly better gpa slightly better LSAT+ work experience = rejection from H (no waitlist) for me a few years ago fwiwGreekOmega12 wrote:Idk but I really feel like a 3.3 167 AA male can snag H.
