Hello fellow TLSers! I am in quite the pickle and seeking your advice.

URM: MA
LSAC GPA: 3.2
LSAT: 161 (retaking)
Softs: NCAA D1 cross country, track (school record 800m & 1500m), University Ambassador, Interned at boutique luxury residential real estate firm,University Program Board (create on-campus events), Social Fraternity member (standards board), other clubs not worth mentioning.
Career Goals: Big Law
School Goals: T 14 or Strong Regional with $

Obviously my GPA is not that great and neither is my LSAT, especially for my goals. As such, I am retaking the LSAT in December but scores will not be released until January which is pretty late in the cycle. What should I do? Would it be too late to apply in January without jeopardizing my admission chances (or lack thereof) drastically?

I don't think applying in January will be a killer. Just make sure your apps are ready to go out soon as you receive your score and you should be good

The issue is not that January is a very late app. It's whether you will be fully prepared to put up the lsat score you need by the december administration that would give me some hesitation.

URMs are generally admitted later in the cycle than the rest, and the bulk of admission decisions are made in January, so........cook on brah
