I decided to write this for any future people interested in the CLEO Six Week Summer Program. I will try to be as comprehensive as I can about the program.
The CLEO Six Week Summer Program takes place at whatever university they decide. I was at Ole Miss but this could change to another university. So for six weeks you take classes from 4 professors.
We had Torts, Property, Criminal, and Legal Writing and Research. You will be graded on a curve and will be ranked. There was a midterm and final for each class. Your schedule is really packed in and it will feel like you have no extra time for anything else. Then you get a day or so off after midterms and then 2 days off after finals. In between you will have mandatory social events you will need to attend. Your time will be stretched. You will be staying in the dorms and you will have a roommate.

We had a few quit within the first week. I think 4 people total left after the first week because they couldn't handle it. The first day of class most people were up until 4am trying to get through all the readings. I decided staying up until 4am wasn't for me so I never did it again. I decided on a cutoff time of 12am and then I would pick it up in the morning. It gets better as you go along.
So in terms of placement, there will be several schools that will interview you if they want to. Some will be on site, others will interview through Skype. Some of the schools I know were Penn State, Ohio State, Mizzou, Wisconsin, FIU, and about two dozen other schools.
They didn't talk to everyone. They will look over your information CLEO sends and then decide based on that if to interview you. I know some people were offered admission on the spot. That wasn't common though. You still have to do your share of work. Keep in contact with schools, don't go just expecting to get into a school without doing the work. It is possible to go into the program and leave without having a school to go to. It's also possible to go and leave with a school. Or go into the program with a school and leave going to a better school.

With all that said though you will still have training wheels essentially. You aren't getting thrown in to the wolves and expected to survive. At our program we had an orientation class. During that class we went over how to take an exam and how to approach a hypothetical. We went over how to brief cases and other information that was really helpful. Over the six weeks you will tweek the information you are given in a way that works for you. So you may not be briefing the way you were shown at the beginning of the program towards the end.
My overall opinion is that the program is great at getting your feet wet. It was great to exposing us to different teaching styles. All the professors I had were different in what they wanted on the exam. It can be frustrating at times when you are forced to go or do something you aren't getting a grade for when you feel like you are spread so thin. But overall it's great.
I hope that answered questions anyone might have about the program. If not I will try to answer any further questions that might come up.
