Am I diverse?

So I am thinking about law school after watching the first season of Suits (bad joke) and I was wondering if you guys could help me out..
I grew up really poor, like I just looked at my mom's tax information from the last few years and she makes on average 14,000 per year, I have made about the same for my last few years in college. So would me growing up in such financial peril provide me with some sort of bump?.. I mean, I never really went without but if it takes making no money to make more money then I'm all in
Thanks for the responses!

Assuming you're not trolling... what race are you? That's all that matters for URM.

I put it in my personal statement. I don't think it bumped me for admissions but I do think I got more money than my numbers otherwise justified. White guy if it matters.

Make it a compelling part of your narrative. Growing up disadvantaged is a great way to frame the ADCOM's understanding of you as an applicant if you can spin a good tale.

This will do nothing to overcome subpar numbers, but it'll make you more intriguing as an otherwise equal applicant.

That being said, when Financial Aid comes calling, you'll get max need-based if that is offered from your school of choice.
