Hi all,
I noticed that on LSAC you have the option to choose Black/African American OR U.S./African American.
What is the difference?

Black/AA - Naturalized citizen or green card holders who were born in another country though may be seen as black in the US. For example, Afro-Caribbeans, Black Africans from Kenya/Nigeria/Ghana or some similar variation.
U.S./AA - Born and bred citizens of Afro- persuasion on US soil.

@Phoenix
Maybe it depends on the school?
I was actually filling in the demographic information in the application for one of the schools I'm applying to.

Yup. I distinctly remember Penn asking for these distinctions. I found it quite odd.
