Hi, I just wanted to know if people of Colombian and Cuban descent (75% hispanic/latino) receive any sort of URM boost or qualify as URM?

The general agreement on here is that the URM boost only goes to African American, Native American, Mexican and Puerto Rican.

Make sure you write a diversity statement.

I wouldn't say it doesn't count. But you aren't classified as an URM by law school standards. That is only for people who are African American, Native American, Puerto Rican American and Mexican American respectively. A compelling diversity statement can turn heads in your favor with the proper numbers and if it is concisely written.
