Take the LSAT first and come back. I was averaging like 176 on prep tests and got a 170 on the real thing. You know why? Because I got super nervous. The real thing is a different beast, and trying to determine what kind of chances you have with a prep test score is just going to make you go nuts (trust me I did the same thing).
From what I've seen on TLS though your 3.4 might take you out of the running from Yale, or Stanford, but your URM boost with a 170+ the general idea is to apply to all of the T14 and some safeties in the hometown ya feel?

Take the LSAT and come back, but if you score where you're PTing, you probably shouldn't ED anywhere.
