Just keep praying. The fact that they didn't reject gives you hope, so just keep positive.

I hate to be that guy, but have you thought about retaking? Taking the Feb LSAT might help you secure a spot, score high enough and they might even throw money at you.

But yes, at least you weren't rejected, thats a good thing. :)

retake man seriously its not that hard to go from 154 to 164 or even 170 you just need to put the time and effort into it. think about it once you're in law school all ur gonna be doing is studying 8-10 hours a day. put in half of that time every day until february lsat and i guarantee you will get at least a 165

You should spend some time tutoring the lsat, if you are so confident that you can promise a stranger a 165.

I just came across this and LOL'd.

On the one hand, you're probably right... a retake (if it's an option for this individual) would probably be wise but I don't know his/her circumstances and if having the time and resources to properly study isn't an option, etc., then I don't know what to say.. clearly having received a 154, this person seemed confident enough that that was the score he wanted to submit.

On the other hand, WTF r u talking about lol. Again, this person got a 154 and submitted it which means that there had to - at least to a notable extent - have been some level of confidence that this score was within his potential range.. you "guarantee at least a 165"? Like how? How do you guarantee that? Kudos to you for being an LSAT prodigy, but let's get real for a second.

You don't know his/her circumstances so you don't know if he/she should retake? You're going to withhold judgment on that point? Come on bro, a blind man can see when most people need to retake. This fear of retaking the LSAT is a silly sickness that has crippled a lot of people who are otherwise very smart and logical.

No one ever needs to go to law school. There's almost never (read: never) a reason not to retake if a higher score would significantly help your chances. Please stop with the "Oh, I don't want to be one of those retaker guys so I try and avoid saying it" holier than thou attitude. It doesn't help anything.

Anyway, I agree with you and everyone else, you can't say that a 16 point LSAT jump is easy.

Also, OP: retake.
