CA or NY schools preferably and cheaper is always better.

Your GPA is 3.4 right? You're probably in everywhere for sure other than HYS and Berkeley. I'd imagine a decent shot at H but your GPA will probably keep you out of YS and B.
What do I know though.

Re: Where will a 172 get a MA male?
I know of a Latino (I'm not sure if he was Mexican-American or Puerto Rican) who got into H and S during the 2010-2011 cycle with 3.49/172. He was an Engineering major, so that might've compensated some for the low GPA, but it sounds like you've definitely got a shot at H and S. I also know of another non-URM Latino male who also got into H and S this cycle (and was rejected at Y) with a 3.5X/172. He came from HYP UG, though. My guess is that Y is the only school that's unlikely for you and that's entirely based on GPA. Even so, it's probably worth applying there to cover your bases.christam wrote:CA or NY schools preferably and cheaper is always better.
