URM 2013-2014 Cycle Thread

I thought it only appropriate to get this party started with creating an official thread for the upcoming cycle. With applications down, a pending Supreme Court ruling and the general unpredictable nature of URM admissions, I am looking forward to seeing what's in store for the year ahead.

EDIT> Cycle results will be posted here in July or so. :)

More info below:

They have a variety of seminars and a six-week program throughout the year. They include ASAP (Achieving Success in the Application Process), AIE (Attitude is Essential), and the CLEO Summer Institute for students already admitted to law school.

You're retaking a 171? Assuming you can improve, you'll be enjoying New Haven next year. Good luck with that, man!

I know some already sat for the June LSAT and are awaiting results. I am scheduled to sit in October. I already have most of my application components prepared, will be attending CLEO ASAP next month and the National Black Pre-Law Conference in Houston later in the year. Who else is applying? Good luck to all! Hope our cycle is as epic as the last. :D
What Supreme Court Ruling are you referring to?

I didn't study right the first time and and I'm only at a 3.5/3.6 GPA so I want to maximize my chances.

Thanks!

Hopefully applying this cycle if the LSAT score is right. Doing everything I can to make that happen. I plan to sit for the October exam.

Unfortunately, I'm maxed out until next June. I'm fairly happy with my 166, though I don't think that's where my problem was. ;)

Checking in. Going for the third retake in Oct and (hopefully) reapplying this cycle. Love my job but I can't take my boss for another year. Skipping the CLEO stuff but will also be attending the conference in Houston. Good luck everyone!

In for this cycle. Thought I'd be applying last cycle but decided to work a year instead. I have a feeling this is going to be a great cycle for us URMs.

Good luck to all.
