AA Male 3.3 / 167
What results should I anticipate next cycle? Should I retake LSAT?
Thanks in advance!

Definitely retake and shoot for 170+. That puts lower T-14 with $$, CCN, and H as a very long shot, in play.

Do those law schools numbers graphs above include all URMs? If so, they're pretty worthless for an AA male if they include hispanics in their metrics.

Seeing how you're an AA male with a 3.0+ and 165+, I'd say you're in a very comfortable position for the top 14. Obviously a retake would be nice, but I think you can snag anything top 7 and above (penn prolly not included, idk they're stingy) and have a really strong shot at the top 6.
I don't think my lsn is that good a tool for AA males because they do get the biggest boost, are probably the rarest, and the URM numbers get mixed with everyone who's a urm--each one of which would receive a noticeably smaller boost than you. A better gpa would have been great, but u gotta work with what you have.

Thanks! Hope to get into a T-14 school and preferably with $$! New to the TSL and after reading a ton of posts, a T-14 school seems more than attainable!

Man good luck. If I can pull it off in Oct, we'll have some similar stats. It'll be interesting to see how our cycles go.Malachi wrote:Thanks! Hope to get into a T-14 school and preferably with $$! New to the TSL and after reading a ton of posts, a T-14 school seems more than attainable!

Good luck to you too wlee!!!
Should I expect $$ from any T-14 school if my stats remain the same? Aside from a better LSAT score, any recommendations on how I could boost my chances to get $$?

GULC or Cornell would probably toss some $ your way with your current numbers, given the relatively low number of high LSAT scores among AA males. That being said, you should totally retake and aspire much higher than that. Increasing your LSAT by a few points could get you into Columbia or Chicago. Good luck!Malachi wrote:Good luck to you too wlee!!!

I would definitely consider this graph, then tell yourself that you're the URM of the URMs, and this graph is not entirely accurate for you. An AA male with 3.1/167 is going to Columbia and was waitlisted at Harvard this cycle.
