Conventional wisdom would suggest that URMs are in their own distinct pool, same with regular admissions.
I have no other advice to offer other than sending in a LOCI and a new LOR. Good Luck!

I would imagine a separate pool as well. In regards to the LOR I don't think it would hurt.
But how have you been Rascal? How is your cycle panning out?

Yeah, got lucky, I head up there this fall.
