What's a good GPA for a MA URM?

I have a 3.74, but is that good enough for HYS? Do they take your school into account? (I went to Columbia)

thanks for your help y'all!

Short answer- yes have a very good gpa from a very good school, congrats on that. However, it is only roughly around the 25th percentile for HYS, which makes it low for those schools. But, the fact that you are a URM gives you a nice boost, so knock out the LSAT (170+, preferably hit 173 at least) and you are likely in at HYS. Not that they really matter at all, but you seem to have nice softs from your other post. Also, where you went to UG matters very little, if at all. LSAT, GPA, and URM are really the only three things that matter much. Everything else is marginal. Good luck!

edit. Likely in at H, YS are always a crapshoot- its there that your softs would have a chance at helping you, but dont count on them.
