Hi! Fellow URM TX resident splitter here.
The retakes will not hurt you.
Youll probably get into at least two of S/H/B. Most likely H/B because you are at/above their LSAT median + URM.
You do have an outside shot at UT, but its probably not gonna happen.
You could throw hail mary's to GULC and Cornell.

Thanks for the reply Nova. Do you think with the drop in applicants this cycle I'll have a shot at getting any sort of scholarship at SMU/UH/Baylor? Thanks again.

URM + above median LSAT is almost always enough to get some sort of scholarship.
Probably about
10k a yr from H
15k a yr from S
20k yr from B
Keep in mind UHLC tuition is much lower than S/B so it kind of evens out.
Those numbers are based on anecdotes and LSN.
If they dont offer you money, they will very likely negotiate when you show them other better offers. UHLC offered me sticker last cycle, but when I showed them higher ranked schools offers, they upped it their offer to 15k per year.
Good luck!!

If I were you I would email adcomms to ask for fee waivers (let them know your a PR and you have a 3.3/162) and then apply to these T1 schools:
Arizona/Arizona State/Fordham/Alabama/Georgia/Illinois/Wisc/
North Carolina/Ohio State/Colorado/Wake Forest/Tulane/Florida/
You have good shots at admission and their scholarships can be negotiated against eachother.

If you're a URM, you do not want to go to B. Also, as a URM, your numbers put you at a good shot at Texas if you retake. Good luck.

I had a similar GPA and got into Cornell last month with a 159 (recently got my Dec score which was a few points higher). I do think my resume, LORs, personal statement and other softs made me an exceptional candidate, but stilll.. Should give you some hope

I'm curious as to why you say to not go to Baylor as a URM.

I think the implication is that you could do better. Waco is not inherantly racist or anything.

Yeah, I simply meant that you can just do better than Baylor or SMU (but out of those two, SMU is by far a better choice.)

I am from Texas. If I were you, I wouldn't attend any school in Texas besides UT. If that means taking the LSAT a fourth time, then so be it. My college roommate's brother attended Baylor over UT with about a 3.8/168ish. That guy is such an idiot. I bet he regrets that decision now. I never really liked the dude. I won't really get into why he choose Baylor over UT. If you really want to know, PM me. Trust me though, his reason for not attending UT is a really, really stupid one.

Just to clarify: are all of these schools peers, or are the ones in each line peers with each other?

All are more or less peers (pretty strong regionals). Wake/Illinois are by far last in that group. Fordham/UNC would be front runners.
