Most definitely. I would try Columbia, University of Chicago, and Northestern and below with your score. However, I think you should re-take. Because of your GPA--which is good--I think you should try to get that LSAT to a 168, and you'll be golden and you'll be enjoying your time at HYS next year.
Don't fret; you're an AA female, so there will definitely be a boost on the GPA and LSAT front. I would feel more comfortable if you got that LSAT up to a 168 though. (You have a decent shot at HYS as it is anyway. )

I believe you will certainly be admitted to one of the top 14. Like I said in another post, it's difficult for me to believe people have not done the small amount of research to know what their odds are at getting into their preferred school. Still, there might be a situation I'm not aware of that has impeded you from doing this.
Anyway, I would send an application to every top 10 school in the country if I were you. Ask for fee waivers if you don't have the money. Don't rely solely on your urm status and prepare a strong application on every aspect.

I apologize. I understand it might sound rude. I hope it was not offensive to OP.

You have a decent shot at Harvard. My friend was admitted with a slightly higher GPA and lower LSAT. Do not be dumb and not apply to the T-6.

I don't think there was anything really special about her. She went directly from undergrad. In fact, she got an MBA from Harvard too. She was admitted almost everywhere she applied in the T-14. I don't know about Yale or Stanford though. She did the dual MBA/JD at Harvard in four years.

For statistical context:
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 4&t=195443
In the 2010-2011 cycle there were 14,584 blacks who took the LSAT. Statistical analysis (normal distribution, standard deviation, etc) shows that
less than 90 of them scored a 164 or above-you have a 166. This is more than 2.5 standard deviations above the AA mean, a level that perhaps 1 in every 3-400 AA LSAT takers manages to reach annually.
In this aforementioned cycle, HYS admitted 81 AA's between them, and that is to say nothing of the other 11 T14 schools (the T14 took 331 AAs in total). The average GPA of AA law school applicants was a 2.96-you have a 3.52. There are likely only 4 or 5 dozen other AA's with your score who will apply, and you can bet that many of them do not have a 3.52.
The question to be asked here is not
if you are going to a T14 school (assuming your score is legit and you still have a desire to do so). It is merely
which T14 you'll be attending.
Blanket the T14.
