Was your friend an AA URM or MA?bizzybone1313 wrote:You are on your way to Harvard, Stanford or Yale. I have a friend that had a 3.8ish GPA and probably a lower LSAT. He went to Harvard. I hope to join you at YHS. I need a similar LSAT as you though.

Are you taking the LSAT this weekend?bizzybone1313 wrote:You are on your way to Harvard, Stanford or Yale. I have a friend that had a 3.8ish GPA and probably a lower LSAT. He went to Harvard. I hope to join you at YHS. I need a similar LSAT as you though.
I will probably take it in February and apply late. It seems like most elite law schools hold off on making decisions on URM's until all the applications are in anyways. I will not sit for the LSAT unless I feel 100% prepared though. So, I might have to wait until June and apply next cycle. I really do not want to sit for a morning administration of the test. I think better in the middle of the day. I am not sure what I am going to do just yet. I will make a decision in January depending on my PT scores.Teflon_Don wrote:Are you taking the LSAT this weekend?bizzybone1313 wrote:You are on your way to Harvard, Stanford or Yale. In my personal experience, morning works better. I was so anxious/stressed the entire morning for the June exam, waiting for the test. In October, I basically woke up, ate, warmed up, and went to work. I liked that better, but that was also my better test score so maybe I'm biased ha. Are you close to scoring your goal?? I'm curious because I honestly thought I'd never break 165.. I scored a 160 in June (PTing avg around 162-163).. I was fortunate enough to get a 169 in October tho! It CAN be done. habizzybone1313 wrote:I will probably take it in February and apply late. I am in the low 160's. My goal is 170+ like most people. My sleep schedule is all messed up right now though. I have a couple of ladies in my life that just do not understand I cannot be partying every Friday and Saturday until 4 in the morning. The other day on Saturday, I got home at 6 in the morning. They are a stubborn bunch. They think if I am not with them a certain Friday or Saturday night of every week I am with another girl (which is true).Teflon_Don wrote:In my personal experience, morning works better. As far as YHS is concerned, you are about as close as it gets to being auto admit for a URM. I am surprised one of them hasn't admitted you yet. YHS are acting like a girl on a first date: They are initially acting like they "don't want it", but they really do at the end of the night.Teflon_Don wrote:In at MV; Berk; Cornell. Hoping to prove many of you wrong and land HYS!
