Hi, So I recently underpreformed on the June LSAT and scored a 168 (PTing around a 172). I'm retaking in October, but I want a bit of a guage on how my "backup" range will do.
I'm very interested in Boston based schools (BU,BC), and entertaining the idea of EDing at BU. Also, of course T14 would be nice. I'm also considering WUSTL since they seem generous with scholarship aid and I'm fairly debt adverse.
I'm an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe and will be writing a diversity statement.
GPA: 3.3
LSAT: 168
NA M
Let me know what you guys think!

That's a normal point drop for "game day" based on what ive seen around these parts. So if youre truly aiming for 172, get your PTs in the 175 range.

Great Job on the LSAT. Good luck on the retake. I bet youll get into at least two of the three, BC/BU/WUSTL (with money), with your current numbers. UMN would also throw money you. T14 is tricky because you are below both medians. Hit median and your chances go up dramatically.

CanadianWolf is right on the money imo.
You've got a better GPA and LSAT than me and I'm at Cornell with $$$. You can retake and aim higher, and you should since you feel like you can do better, but I would be surprised if you didn't get BU/BC/WUSTL/T14 bites with what you have now. Good job.
Apply to Columbia, but throw an app at Cornell too!

Recruitment for NA's here has been a bit down this year, especially when compared to last year, so NALSA is trying to improve that (as much as a student group can... which is up for debate).

Want a Boston school? retake get 175+ and go to H
Its a tough goal, obviously, but all it takes is a few questions better on test day than your PT scores are. Something to aim for.

Harvard is unlikely due to OP's GPA even with a much higher LSAT. Columbia wants NA applicants & does admit URMs with relatively low GPAs. Cornell & Columbia are OP's best T-14 opportunities. But OP should apply to other T-14s outside of the Top 6 (excluding Columbia), in my opinion.
