Not necessarily, but with a 3.1 it is quite unlikely. Might as well throw em an app though.tryingtomakeit wrote:HYS is out?
Probably the same. However, probably with a little more money from CCN and down due to being male AA.Rahsaan wrote:What if this person was male and had 3 years of prior work experience?
Nova, what if the GPA was a 3.45 ?Nova wrote:Probably the same. However, probably with a little more money from CCN and down due to being male AA.Rahsaan wrote:What if this person was male and had 3 years of prior work experience?
AFAIK, YHS will take every 3.5+/165-169 AA that exists over a 3.1/170 AA all day every day. Dat floor.
With apps down like they are, I would guess an AA 3.3-3.5/165-169 would have about a 10%-50% at getting one of YSH, depending on where they are on the spectrum.BlaqBella wrote:Nova, what if the GPA was a 3.45 ?Nova wrote:Probably the same. Something like AA/3.45/167 would give that person a decent shot at Stanford. http://myLSN.info/dispresults.php?sk=i9m6g
As you likely know, those charts are ALL URMs, not just AAs, and are a very small sample size. The fact that there are such few applicants on LSN with those numbers implies the rarity of the situation. Im drawing inferences from both data and anecdotes (friends/acquaintances)...
