Top Law Schools

SIAP. I did a search around the forums and was surprised that there wasn't a thread about it yet. This case has been gaining traction and is currently awaiting review for cert by the SCOTUS. I am graduating this May and decided to delay my cycle until next fall. As a MA I can't help but wonder if by doing so I may be facing a radically different admissions outlook should the court hear the case and use it as an opportunity to overturn some language in Grutter. With O' Connor off the court I feel like this is a real possibility. Have any other URMs, particularly those applying next fall been following this case? Any insights, predictions, or concerns?

So I'm sure many of you heard this case is going to be heard in the fall. The tragic twist is that Kagan had to recuse herself because she already worked on the case before joining the Supreme Court. It's not looking good.

Even if they rule against affirmative action in the broadest possible way, won't this still only extend to public universities? Not very hard to imagine private schools picking up URMs to try to compensate IMO.
