If you're applying next year, you might as well retake. With your GPA, aim for a 170 and enjoy Yale.
Your GPA is already worthy of them. You would have a minute chance of getting in there with that LSAT though.weissenbuddy wrote:Would you say I'd have to retake to have a shot at YH?
I would disagree slightly. I think you are almost guaranteed to be in at H. It seems that schools are much more forgiving of lower LSATs for URMs than for low GPAs and your GPA is truly impressive. Harvard would jump on you if you wanted to go there.paulshortys10 wrote:Your GPA is already worthy of them. If you improve 3-4 points you're pretty much in. Could use the extra year to buff up your app with WE and shit.
I mean probably point wouldn't hurt to apply either wayDreamsInDigital wrote:I would disagree slightly. I think you are almost guaranteed to be in at H. As for Yale, I think that is kind of a crapshoot right now. If you have something amazing that makes you stand out right now (great work experience, or can show amazing leadership through orgs and stuff), you have a chance now. If you don't, then I think 3 or 4 points will give you a much better chance but you are still by no means a shoe in.
