Re: AA Male ED option
Honestly, that's prob the best answer. Anyone think there's a shot at Cornell?answer23 wrote:Hi I'm AA male 2.9 gpa 160 lsat and I'm planning on ED at UVA. Is that a wise decision? My goal is big law. I want to have the best chance at squezing into t14. I've already taken the lsat 3 times and 160 is my best score.

Is there actually any shot at all with those numbers?answer23 wrote:Hi I'm AA male 2.9 gpa 160 lsat and I'm planning on ED at UVA. Is that a wise decision? My goal is big law. I want to have the best chance at squezing into t14. I've already taken the lsat 3 times and 160 is my best score.
What was your studying like to only score a 160 after 3 tries if you dont mind me asking?
EDIT: After looking around I can confirm you have no shot at T14 with those numbers. The 2.9 in UG .... how does that even happen

No need to be nasty. If you're insistent on applying this year, OP, ED to UVA immediately.AssumptionRequired wrote:Is there actually any shot at all with those numbers?answer23 wrote:Hi I'm AA male 2.9 gpa 160 lsat and I'm planning on ED at UVA. Agreed... Make sure there's a damn good personal and diversity statement. If you can make a case for the GPA in an addendum, someone might snatch you up. Good luck!No need to be nasty. If you're insistent on applying this year, OP, ED to UVA immediately.

Re: AA Male ED option
Is this realistic with these numbers? No one has offered info on this. I am not trying to be mean. I feel like good advice here would be to take some time off and really put full effort into studying for this test. Scoring a 160 is good but scoring a 168+ would open a whole new world of schools.JustE wrote:Agreed... Make sure there's a damn good personal and diversity statement. OP: you are so late in the cycle, I would wait, study, take the LSAT next June, apply early and enjoy much much better results. (that is if you dont get into a T14 with an ED, I just dont know how realistic that is)

AA male is the best URM boost possible. Plus, URM cycles are difficult to predict. I think if he EDs he has a chance.

Best of luck OP, I really hope I am wrong and the ED gets you in!

I'm afraid this is not true.AssumptionRequired wrote:NA with tribal card>>>>>>>>>>>>AAInGoodFaith wrote:AA male is the best URM boost possible. Plus, URM cycles are difficult to predict. I think if he EDs he has a chance.

AA male and a NA with tribal card receive at least the same, and if one receives more of a boost than another, it's probably the former.
OP, it may be too late, but EDing at NW maybe your best bet. I know an AA female who got in with similar stats. UVA seems unlikely. Please PM me for more details.

ED to NW is a full ride. OP almost certainly wouldn't get this.
