Top Law Schools

My family is affiliated with tribes from the Amazon. I know Native Americans are URM, but what about someone from the tribes from South America? Are we also considered Native (South) Americans as per LSAC's URM classification?

Inca ? Does tribal registration exist in South America as it does in the USA ?

From my limited knowledge, I don't think they do. But I don't think it'd matter. Native America = American Indian, not Native "American" as in the broad sense of Americano. I don't think there's necessarily a boost for being of South American descent and if there were one for being of indigenous South American descent, I think it'd be minimal.

Actually, I know for a fact that NA benefits & standing is not limited to North America at several US law schools--but it may depend upon the law school & whether or not one can produce tribal registration in order to get large scholarship offers based on NA status. The admission advantage is still there whether North American or South American NA at several law schools.
