Apps that don't differentiate between Mex/PR/Other Hispanics

I apologize if this has been discussed before. I noticed that while most law school apps ask for specific backgrounds within "Hispanic," some don't get past the general "Are you of Latino/Hispanic origin?". Doesn't that suggest that the latter group gives an identical "boost" to all Hispanics? Of course, many applicants elaborate on their backgrounds in a DS, and LSAC supplies schools with the specific ethnic information applicants provided. But I was wondering if the application forms are indicative of admission policies for those schools.
Of the T26 + an additional handful, here's a breakdown:
Schools whose apps don't go further than "Hispanic/Latino"
Duke
GWU
U of Illinois
Indiana-Bloomington
Iowa
Michigan
NYU
NU
Texas
Minnesota
Emory
Schools that ask for specific nationalities within "Hispanic/Latino"
Boston U
Virginia
USC
Berkeley
Fordham
Penn
WUSTL
Columbia
Chicago
UCLA
Notre Dame
Cornell
Michigan State
Cardozo
Schools who don't ask at all (and presumably rely on the LSAC report)
Yale
GULC
Vandy
Discuss.
