Top Law Schools

I apologize if this has been discussed before. I noticed that while most law school apps ask for specific backgrounds within "Hispanic," some don't get past the general "Are you of Latino/Hispanic origin?". Doesn't that suggest that the latter group gives an identical "boost" to all Hispanics? Of course, many applicants elaborate on their backgrounds in a DS, and LSAC supplies schools with the specific ethnic information applicants provided. But I was wondering if the application forms are indicative of admission policies for those schools.

Of the T26 + an additional handful, here's a breakdown:

Because of the LSAC report that accompanies your application, every school knows exactly what you are. Schools like NYU (that don't ask you to specify) can differentiate between the hispanics because of the LSAC report. They definitely do not give identical boosts.

And why did you list all Top 30 schools, then randomly list Michigan State (a TTT)?

All schools probably read the LSAC report.
