I am posting this thread not to be offensive, but to gather data. Due to the extreme lack of minority men in law school especially AA men I would like to know from what schools you've been dinged at and your #'s. Please be honest. If you rather pm please do, I wont post your name. I am AA male so I'm curious and please keep trolling to minimum.

UT the # destination of native texans so they have their pick. they admit about 23 AA students a year and at least 60 hispanic students. the other schools are just waiting out their cycle. you should get in uva, and duke. I don't know if UC even cares about URM

lol, I actually already withdrew from those schools. I have already got into Upenn and Berkeley and I didn't really like U Chicago, I just applied because they sent me a fee waiver.

No I appreciate your post SERIOUSLY. sorry about BU they sent me a waiver and I applied just because. You are sitting pretty at UNC. I am a NY'er also and we applied to a lot of the same schools. I know you will end up at a great school!

2.4 is tough to overcome but I have some good options on the table with a lot more to hear from.

The California State Bar has asked USNews to include diversity in its ranking formula according to an article in the National Law Journal. USNews' Robert Morse responded that he is open to the idea if it can be fairly administered since overwhelmingly white states like Kansas might be disadvantaged vis-a-vis California & other diverse states. The California Bar wants diversity to count for 15% of the USNews ranking formula.

Just google NLJ. USNews has considered adding diversity as a factor in its rankings. It does, however, rank diversity as a stand-alone category in law schools, but does not use that in its current ranking formula.

Thanks man. I'd say for my numbers, I definitely am. I put as much time into my PS as I did into my LSAT and I really think it's paying off.
