You only completed 1 game, and managed a 161? You should absolutely retake. This means that you most likely have the other sections on lockdown. If you pound the games for the next couple of weeks, you'll be golden just in time for the December LSAT.jd20132013 wrote:So I have a 3.76 and got a 161 on October LSAT. Just got my score today due to a hold.
Should I retake? I'm pretty sure I can improve my score by at least 5 raw points, I usually complete two games on LG completely and only got one this time.
Does it make sense to delay apps and spend all that time studying to take again? Where could I realistically get in (T14) with my numbers?

As per where you could get in, you still have some chance from Columbia down. You'll have to apply broadly to find out because URM cycles are very wild and unpredictable.
This. Games is all about repetition. Also, find a diagramming strategy that works for you - even if it isn't the PS or whatever, find a system and then practice with it. You can get all of the games sections from cambridge lsat for like 50 bucks, it's definitely worth just pounding through as many as you can get to. As has been noted, if you got a 161 with a weak games section you can break 170 with a decent games section, and 170 + 3.76 + URM = $$$.cortnf wrote:Do sections, this worked for me. Four games at a time, then sit down after and figure out exactly which deductions you should have made, why each answer is correct, why each wrong answer is incorrect, etc. I went from -10 to -1 on LG by doing this. Games will click eventually, you just need to sit down and focus on them.
