Black/Latino male LSAT retake:160, chances?

Post by elm84dr » Sat Oct 30, 2010 12:34 pm

So I took the Lsat for the 3rd times after gettinbg a 151, 154 and after months of prep, a 160. I applied last year with the 154 with my softs and 3.3 GPA and got waitlisted at: Columbia, Vanderbilt, Cornell, Fordham and Emory. Rejected at: BC, BU, Harvard (obviously), NYU, UPENN. What do ya'll think are my chances now with the 160 at these same schools.

Blanket the entire T14 this time. You'll get in somewhere.

Also, apply NOW. Getting in early makes a difference. Consider EDing to Columbia; if they WL'd you before they might accept you now, and if you'd be happy going there then you could just wrap it up now. But that may not be necessary, you might get in RD this time.

i'm in the same boat as you; but GPA is a tenth point lower than you; and my LSAT is a 161. I applied ED for Columbia.
