Well, I'm light brown(ish). As far as I know I'm completely Dominican (though from what I understand the ethnicity is a result of interbreeding) and I was born and raised in America. I wouldn't say I was really attached to any culture, but my parents are.

I guess I'm White. News to me .

I would not say you are white. If you have ever seen anyone who was biracial (half black, half white) and you look like any of them, then check off Black and Latino. If you are a Latino that looks like Cameron Diaz or Andy Garcia, then no, I would not check black. A-Rod or Christina Milian or even Michele Rodriguez, check black.

I'm that color, sure. If thats all it takes to get ~10+ LSAT points with certain schools then I'm all for it. If it means having massive debt and failing the bar, then I can't go for that (no, no).

Edit: By "that color" I mean Christina Milian, etc. Which means I'm all clear for Black + Latino? I'll still pass C&F?

Honestly, for that "middle of the road", Michelle Rodriguez type I would just leave race blank. I am definitely more Andy Garcia, Ricky Martin-type (no homo). So I checked off white and cuban. If you are more A-Rod, Rosario Dawson, check black. But most hispanics do lie somewhere in the middle, if that is the case, leave race blank. That is the safest bet.

I hope that helps me. I have yet to hear back from schools. When I tell people I am Nicaraguan, they think I'm Nigerian. Nicaragua is in Central America, not Africa.

It should give you a slight boost. Shoot for some schools in the midwest, you get a bigger diversity boost than schools down the i95 corridor. I got into Notre Dame with a scholarship with a 3.6/163, I'm Cuban, so I believe it definitely gave me a boost.

I'm a Cuban with a fairly interesting story.

Don't feel like it helped me at all, except for the fact that I was WL'd at Michigan instead of outright rejected (well below both medians). Other than that, my cycle has basically gone the way Law School Predictor said it would.

Definitely in at Columbia, Maybe in at Harvard and Stanford. Probably out at Yale, but you never know.
