180 LSAT

I'm a URM so I was wondering,
will a perfect score of 180 and an okay GPA (3.0 - 3.4 range)
get me into nearly every law school sans Yale?
Specifically Harvard, Columbia, and NYU.

BTW: I don't have a perfect score but I have two years to get ready for this test so I think I can get close at least.

Also if anyone has the answer to this I'm curious, how many URM make scores over 170, 175?
Just trying to size up the competition lol.

Have you ever even seen an actual LSAT? Expecting to get 180 (or "close at least") is ambitious, but there's a reason only 99.99% of people score that high.

Don't double post. Mods frown on that.

I'm also curious about this.

Where do high LSAT low GPA URMs end up?

According to LSN, it seems like they end up similarly to non-URM extreme-splitters. I see a lot of Harvard WL's for them and often they go to MVP (mostly MV) and some Northwestern.

Yes I have. I took one without studying since that seems to be what alot of people do to gauge their weaknesses.
My school offered a free practice LSAT exam and I received a 166.

Not quite that low but I have a 3.6-3.7 with a 175+ LSAT and Ive been told by people in admissions that I should be pretty confident about schools not named Yale.. with a 3.0-3.4 and 175+ Im thinking NYU at the very least

I applied to 7 schools, including Harvard, Columbia, and NYU as a high LSAT, low GPA URM splitter and got into every school but one (which, incidentally, was my super-safety). My numbers are in my profile.

The world is yours, bro.

Wouldnt it be .01% score that high cause im sure if 99.99% of the people score that high then there would be a huge saturation pf 180's.

At 166 is a high diagnostic and you will be able to get in to the 170s. A 180 is a different matter.

I had the same question - but I ultimately decided I'm taking the test on Monday, so I might as well wait until I have a score to start freaking out about it. I figure the 3.3 puts me out of the running for YLS, but a 180 would be pretty nice for other t14 schools. 4 of 12 of my PTs have been 180s, so fingers crossed I can show up on test day!

Although with my luck I'm probably looking at a 160 or something.

You are competing with everyone, not just URMs.

About 30 MAs score above 170

About 150 AAs score above 170
